Badgers, Dursley, Gloucestershire, October 2014 I haven't attempted to photograph badgers this late in the year before but they are still coming regularly and so I thought I'd try for some shots with a darker background. The first shot turned out to be almost back and white so I converted into these bold colours. This badger is not one used to much flash but the lure of food overcame his/her shyness. The best shots came when he/she was looking up so I had to wriggle my legs to make a noise or call out "Look up"! With my zoom set to mostly 200mm at f/4 the depth of field was not great so I had to discard many shots with eyes that were not pin sharp. ![]()
