Gloucester, February 2012

After seeing a barn owl out in the middle of the afternoon just south of Gloucester, I returned on the next sunny afternoon with my camera equipment. However, this time it appeared at dusk and most of my pictures were taken after sunset on ISO 800 or 1600.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Slimbridge WWT, February 2012

With snow showers on their way, I headed for the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge to try to photograph some of the birds flying around at feeding time in the afternoon. Amongst those I caught were Bewick's swans, cananda geese, greylag geese and a pintail.
